Sheet A-01 · Interior design studio, Kuala Lumpur
Thoughtful spaces.
Better living.
We design calm, intentional and timeless interiors that reflect the way you live.
Every room is drawn before it is photographed. Layout, light and circulation are settled on paper — the material follows the plan, never the other way round.

Plan and photograph both show an LTG demonstration layout, not a completed RakuHaus project. Replace both with a real unit before launch.

Human-centred
We design around you, creating spaces that feel like home.

About
Design with purpose.
Built on trust.
RakuHaus is an interior design studio based in Malaysia. We blend Japanese sensibility with modern German precision to create spaces that are functional, beautiful and made to last.
Every project starts the same way — with the plan, the light, and the way the people who live there already move. Everything after that is material.
Raku — ease
The Japanese half. Space that is quiet, unforced, and comfortable to be in for years.
Haus — precision
The German half. Drawings that are exact, joinery that closes properly, a build that survives handover.
Selected work
Two recent projects.
The engagement
Four stages, in order.
Consultation
We walk the space, listen to how it will be used, and agree on budget before anything is drawn.
Concept & space planning
Layout, light and circulation first. Material direction and a costed concept follow.
Documentation
Working drawings and joinery details precise enough for the contractor to price and build from.
Build & handover
Site supervision through construction, styling at the end, and a defects walk before we leave.

Sheet A-07 · Journal
Insights on design, living and everything in between.
Notes from the studio — material studies, project diaries, and what we learned on site.
Material schedule
The same restraint we use in a room.
Seven finishes, one accent. The red is a stamp, not a highlight — it appears where a decision was signed off.
